WordPress Developer

We are seeking a talented and motivated WordPress Developer with 1-3 years of experience to join our dynamic team on-site at our Lafayette office. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of WordPress development and be passionate about creating high-quality, custom websites. This role requires a mix of back-end and front-end skills and will involve working on both new projects and maintaining existing sites.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and customize WordPress websites from scratch.
  • Implement and manage WordPress themes and plugins.
  • Collaborate with our design and SEO teams to ensure seamless integration and performance.
  • Ensure websites are fully responsive and optimized for various devices and browsers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve website issues in a timely manner.
  • Perform regular updates, backups, and maintenance of WordPress sites.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to keep our projects current.
  • Assist in maintaining our existing websites, providing routine website maintenance, and fulfilling client requests.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Local candidates only.
  • 1-3 years of experience in WordPress development.
  • Proficient in HTML and CSS. JavaScript, and PHP proficiency is a plus, but not required.
  • Experience with Elementor is preferred.
  • Experience with WooCommerce a plus.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and website performance optimization.
  • Strong understanding of responsive design principles.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills.
